Electrical Controls Design Engineer
Role Overview:
- Electrical Hardware Design (70%): Focus on designing electrical systems for factory automation projects. This includes creating general arrangements, control panel designs, wiring schematics, safety circuitry, and specifying drives, motors, and controllers for machinery and conveyors.
- PLC Programming (30%): Opportunity to also get involved in PLC programming- any PLC control software programming experience would be welcome- Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens. You'll assist Controls Engineers on smaller projects, gradually rebuilding these skills.
Key Requirements would be:
- Electrical Design Experience: Proficiency in Autocad Electrical or E-Plan is ideal, but experience with other tools like Solidworks Electrical, SEE, or Promis-E would be OK to start with.
- Willingness to get involved with PLC programming. Gives you a bit of variety too.
