Description

Utilize your PLC software diagnostics expertise in a role where every day is different. Aiding manufacturers by identifying and rectifying faults in PLC HMI SCADA systems. If you're interested in a career in industrial automation with a major engineering group, where each day offers new challenges, contact Hartland Recruitment for further information.

What do we need? A confident PLC systems user- maybe not a programmer, but a diagnostics/ fault finder / maintenance automation engineer, experienced with one of PLC software such as Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, among others, and keen to add to your knowledge by learning another 1-2.. You enjoy resolving industrial automation problems—perhaps you've liked problem-solving at your current job and are eager to continue this.

The position offers a salary of approximately £42,000-£44000, with paid overtime, additional compensation for after-hours work, and profit sharing, culminating in a total package of £50-£55K. This includes a £5K car allowance, alongside other benefits like pension and holidays.

The role is based along the M62 corridor, from West Yorkshire to Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn to Manchester, serving highly automated manufacturing sites in those areas, from pharma to food to beverage.

A driving license is essential. Unfortunately, sponsorship for a UK work permit is not available for this position.
