The surge in demand for special purpose automated machinery means that my client is busier than ever, and planning for their future, creating new roles. A key part of this will be the addition of an experienced Senior / Lead Mechanical Design Engineer. This role involves hands-on mechanical machinery design, pioneering new machine designs which solve specific manufacturing tasks for customers, improving on past machinery designs, ranges for the future. Also, helping with projects, guiding other engineers in designs, using your experience in the field.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally Solidworks, with a background in machinery or special purpose machine design and development, such as in packaging, processing, assembly, testing, automotive, or industrial machinery design.
